The flower of the Wisteria has been dried as transparently as possible, so that the translucent effect in the photography can be achieved.
In the composition a very direct connection has been made between the purple-blue of the wisteria flower and the aubergine-red-brown hues in the background. This creates an exciting connection between the opaque parts and the translucent parts of the image.
The Wisteria (fragment 1) gets a fragile and thin character.
The frame is covered on the outside with white damask and on the inside with hand-painted paper with a gradient coloring in yellow ocher and ivory-black.
This ShadowBox is also certified as a standing or hanging version in a series of 30 copies.
