The ShadowBox Amaryllis (close 2) still resembles the original bulbous flower that can be found in many living rooms.
By interrupting the drying process of the material and When photographed directly, a mix of the original colors and the discolorations associated with the decay can be seen.
The ShadowBox frame was designed on the basis of these colours. The frame is lined on the inside with hand-colored paper in the colors indanthrene blue, cadmium red and yellow ocher.
A UV-resistant varnish has been applied over the entire frame.
This ShadowBox has a size of 22.7 cm high and 31.7 cm wide and 4.4 cm deep. The feet have a depth of 11.2 cm.<
The ShadowBox is released in a limited and numbered series of 30 pieces.
The object can be supplied in a hanging or standing version. We can also make a custom plinth on request.
